BHS Summer School June 28 to August 5, 2021

Summer school classes are for remediation credit recovery only. Students are expected to attend in person everyday, complete all required assignments, and assessments to earn credit.

There is NO cost for summer school 2021 for the courses listed. However, if students fail a course they may be charged $260 for a 1 credit course or $130 or a .5 credit course
(*P.E. Summer school form is located at www.bcsoh.org, select high school, & find Summer school tab, select P.E. Physical Education is not free.)

No Class on Friday, July 2, Monday, July 5, Friday, July 16, Friday, July 23, and Friday, July 30.

In-person teacher led instruction at BHS 1.0 credit courses offered:

World History & Geography
Language Arts 9
Languages Arts 10

*If student enrollment is low or the course is full, students will have the option to take the course with our online program. If this option is in place, students are required to attend daily, complete guided notes, and all assessments to earn credit.

*If you are taking one of the courses above, you can also work on one additional online self paced course listed below. If you need an additional course, please make sure to mark it accordingly. Students taking the additional course will be able to test after their morning class ends on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:00.

Summer School Expectations:

Attendance - Daily attendance and participation in all assigned lessons are required. Students who miss 10 hours per semester, will be removed from summer school. A student who misses more than 10 hours will be withdrawn and receive an F on their transcripts.

Behavior Expectations & Discipline
Students are required to follow the school rules in the Student Handbook which can be accessed on the District website. Students must follow all school rules and be engaged in their learning. Students will be removed from summer school for not completing work, not attending class, not maintaining daily progress, or for other violations of the Student Code of Conduct. Removal from Summer School will result in failure of the course and could be required to cover the cost of their course.
